Sometimes when I'm  editing photos  I start to reminisce about my own childhood.  I have two older sisters so I could relate to the sisterly dynamics of this session.  The little one had me running as the older sisters helped to entertain. 

Chapel Hill Baby Photographer | At home & at the gardens

It was a beautiful spring day to photograph at UNC Arborteum .  

The cloud of pollen didn't hold back this toddler.  He was busy exploring the walking paths, flowers, and playing with his parents. The Arborteum is a nice place to go with little ones because you can easily explore all areas and maybe even sit on a bench and watch the kids play in the open green space.  

It was also nice to photograph this family at their home as well.  I love to photograph kids in their own surroundings.

A Sunny Day for Baby L| Chapel Hill Baby Photographer

Wow...Is it cold outside but it's never cold inside for a beautiful family portrait session. I photographed Baby L who just turned 4 months old. She was a trooper just getting over a cold but she did a great job.

Sarah | Durham, NC Senior Portraits

Sarah is my trusted assistant at my mini sessions. She is awesome with kids and intuitively knows how to help me with the lighting.  It was fun to photograph her around some interesting spots in Durham, NC which can be often looked over.  Best of luck in your new adventure.

A Happy Baby | Chapel Hill Child Photographer

Baby W was such an easy baby.  She just smiled the whole time.  We had a wonderful session at her home with her mom. Dad was at work and her older sisters were at school. The house was quite and I kept imagining what it was like with three girls chattering in the house.  It was a special time for Baby W and her mom.  It was even warm enough to go outside.  You can always find some beautiful color in nature even in January.
