Dinosaurs and Figs|Durham,NC Child Photographer

This two year old was a real trooper on one of those terrible hot days. We spent a little bit of time outside picking figs, raking dirt, playing in a favorite spot of vines.  This does not sound like the most photographic scenes but they were.  I love photographing families at their home because I get to make the images even more personal for the family.   G showed me what he enjoys doing as a two year old.  Mom and dad suggested the fig tree.  It was a great morning!

Day Seven|Raleigh Durham Newborn Photographer

I met baby A on her seventh day of life.  She was wide awake and ready to be photographed.  No sleeping baby here but she finally fell asleep for a few images. Can you believe it was her first week of life? I'm usually really tired at the end of the week but not baby A.  She could eat and watch me photograph all day.  Here are a few images from our session.

38 weeks & beautiful!|Durham Maternity Photographer

This session was a great example of how I like to work. The family suggested taking a walk on a path behind their house.  A walk that they enjoy to do together as a family. This is great for 2 years because the scene is familiar although I'm not familiar face.  We quickly had fun throwing stones, checking on baby, and coming home to swing.  Love the photo of C bending over to look at the baby. Looking forward to meeting the baby!

It's A Girl!|Durham Newborn Photographer

I had a great time getting to know this family. Baby G was a wonderful and happy in every image. In fact, this is the first baby in a long time that did not cry once.  I think G likes the constant sound of two big brothers around her. Emily and David thank you so much for allowing me to spend the morning with you.  Hope you enjoy the images!
